中国美术学院来华留学教育四十周年

中国美术学院是改革开放后全国第一批对外开放院校，率先招收来华美术留学生。1980年，第一个留学生踏进南山的校园中。四十年来，我校留学生事业不断发展壮大，目前已培养长短期留学生八千余名，所涉生源国家百余个。
八千余名学生用生动具体的学习和生活实践，向我们诠释了东方精神在全球的动能。他们亲身接触原典、原文，加强东西之间的深入对话，用他们自身建造共同的精神场所，让中国进入他们的日常生活。中国美术学院一面完成了学历教育的层层建构，另一方面的特色短训班从上世纪八十年代起，就已经将中国文化东方精神，推广到了学习者的感知、品味、喜好当中，在这四十年里，一批又一批的学习者作为中国文化的传播者，不断的将生机勃勃的中国感知，传遍世界各地，成为当下中国文化走出去的先声。
我们在来华留学四十年的历程里，看到的是这样的一条国美之路：在这四十年的学科建设的征程上，各个学科吸引了来自世界各地的求学者的目光，五湖四海的足迹也遍布南山和象山校园，并一直走向艺术的远方。在这里，中国的艺术不断地在学习者的个体身上发挥着作用。这是来自学校国际化教学建设和留学生以中国艺术为志业的不懈努力与意志。
这样的一条国美之路有其不懈的责任与担当，学院始终以弘扬中国优秀传统文化为己任，依托中国美术学院丰厚的学术资源，以中国书画、“视觉中国”为核心，建立起一套针对外国留学生的高层次国际艺术人才培养机制，贯穿本科、硕士、博士三个层级，涵盖管理、教学、育人等多个方面，在教育界独树一帜。目前，高水平的留学生教育已成为中国美术学院一流学科发展的重要特色，同时也成为了我校建设世界一流美术学院的核心推动力。
本次展览旨在通过历史文献、核心案例、艺术作品的综合展示，回顾和梳理我院留学生教育与改革开放一路同行的发展历程，总结教学方法，梳理培养模式，以中国美术学院留学生教育的历史展示向改革开放致敬。

第一部分：场景与文献
Part I: Scenes and Literature
艺术教育的文献是对艺术教育的记录，以各种不同的方式指涉艺术教育。我们可以说，对于那些在特定时间呈现并可见的艺术教育的进程，我们通过文献记录来进行回放。这些文献包括文本、图像、录像，折射出一个又一个范围不断拓展的来华留学计划、提供给留学生的良好条件、以及为了适应时代、引领时代作出的教学规划等。它们为我们提示了来华留学教育的情境，让我们再度回忆为这一工作做出卓越贡献的群体，将这些入档的资料变成鲜活的阅读物，让观众能在现场读解这一重要的教育历程。展览的整个一楼以数字为引，通过四十年、十一人、四间教室来进行人、事、物的再现。

从整理出的四十年的大事记中，选择了100件留学历史上最重要的事及物。可以同时看到局势之变、社会之变、教育之变。
2、十一人——从中国到中国
11Persons — the Use of Chinese Art both in China and Abroad
在梳理内容的过程中，逐渐浮现出诸多仍然凭借中国艺术活跃在世界各地的优秀留学生校友，以及为中外艺术交流做出重要贡献的个体。有的选择回到自己的祖国，依然从事与中国的文化与艺术有关的工作、继续创作；有的人则选择留在中国继续自己的事业。各种不同的生活形态将通过图像组合，浓缩他们在杭学习以及此后的生活和工作面貌，在有关他们生命的图像和艺术创作中，呈现出他们关于中国美院、中国艺术的完整叙述与表达。
3、四间教室
Four Classrooms
本板块将呈现改革开放以来，不同时期的教学方法和培养模式。将用四个教室空间复现四个不同时期中国美术学院的留学生教室场景，还会同时呈现相应时期的文献与教学图像。四个教室分别为：以1985-2018白乐翡中国文化之旅研修团、明尼苏达大学学习班为代表，体现改革开放早期的中外文化交流形态；2000-2018大东文化大学书法篆刻学习团，标志中国文化对外系统课程的基本确立；2016-2018当代艺术全英文硕士项目，作为中国当代艺术高层次学历教育的代表；2015-2018海外教学基地——泰国吉拉达学校，作为中国文化课程走出去的象征。

第二部分：无疆的国美之路
Borderless CAA Art Road
自1980年第一位来我校的留学生开始，近四十年来已经接收了来自八十五个国家取得通用学位的学历生有705名。最初，他们进入的专业以国画书法为主，随着中国美术学院学科的发展，设计学、建筑学、新媒体等，都成为中国美术学院的特色学科，也是留学生向往的专业。
本板块以中国美术学院双一流建设的学科方向为引，将学生作品分别归入相应板块，以体现留学生对中国文化的吸收与继续弘扬，也是国美之路不受国界、民族之界局限，从国际化的视野展现中国美术学院的中国文化复兴使命的担当之路、艺术教育的先锋之路、更是视觉东方学铸造的诗性之路。

The China Academy ofArt (CAA) is one of the first institutions to be open to the outside world andto recruit art students from abroad after the reform and opening up. In 1979,the first foreign student entered the campus located on Nanshan Road. Sincethen, 40 years have passed and the education for oversea students continues togrow and develop. By now, we have provided training courses for more than 8,000long-term and short-term international students from over 100 countries.
More than 8,000students have interpreted the dynamics of the oriental spirit in the world withtheir own vivid studying and life practices in China. They have personallycontacted the original Chinese texts, strengthened the in-depth dialoguebetween the East and the West and used themselves to build a common spiritualplace for China to enter their daily lives. On one hand, CAA has completed thelayered construction of the academic education. On the other hand, the shorttraining class has extended the oriental spirit of Chinese cultural to thestudents' perception, taste and preferences since the 1980s. Over the past fourdecades, a group of oversea students, as communicators of Chinese culture, havecontinuously spread the vitality of Chinese perception to all parts of theworld and become the forerunner of the current Chinese culture.
In the 40 years’ processof education for oversea students, CAA has gone through its own featured road: In the 40-year course ofdiscipline construction, various disciplines have attracted the attention ofstudents from all over the world, who have set their foot on Nanshan andXiangshan campuses and moved towards the future of art. Here the Chinese arthave continued to effect on individuals who study the art. This indicates theunremitting efforts and will of the international teaching construction and theoverseas students to take Chinese art as their ambition.
This featured road has its unremitting responsibility and obligation.CAA has always carried forward the promotion of China's excellent traditionalculture. Based on the rich academic resources, with the Chinese calligraphy andpainting and “Visual China” at its core, CAA has established a high-levelinternational art talent training mechanism for foreign students, which runs through three levels ofundergraduate, master and doctor in such fields as management, teaching andeducation and is unique in the educational world. At present, the top-leveleducation for oversea students is not only an important feature of CAA’sdevelopment of the first-class discipline, but also the core driving force forthe construction of a world-class art academy.
Through thecomprehensive display of historical documents, core cases and works of art,this exhibition aims to review and clarify CAA’s development process of theeducation for oversea students since the reform and opening up, summarize theteaching methods, sort out the training models and pay tribute to the reformand opening up with CAA’s historical exhibition of the education for overseastudents.
