第34届世界艺术史大会将于2016年拉开帷幕。大会前夕，由第4分会中方主席中国美术学院副院长、美术馆馆长杭间，第17分会中方主席中国美术学院副院长高士明，第21分会中方主席中国美术学院艺术人文学院院长曹意强发起，邀请三个分会场的学者和嘉宾，于9月12-13日在中国美术学院南山校区举办——2016世界艺术史大会中国美术学院研讨会。
