随着“迷因城市：骇进现实”第一届跨媒体艺术节开幕将近，小编将逐渐为大家介绍参加此次媒体艺术节的艺术家。本期介绍的是 DUB-Russell。DUB-Russell是东京试验派音乐组合。他们与Daihei Shibata、Yaporigami、HEXPIXELS组合等艺术家成立了BRDG团体成员，此次演出将以BRDG团体身份出现。

来自日本东京的试验派音乐组合DUB-Russell有两名成员：首藤陽太郎和NOEL-KIT。其音乐采用Max/MSP创作的原声与现场即兴演奏相结合，因而为大众所熟知。DUB-Russell经常登台演出，场地多在东京，包括Sonar Sound Tokyo（声波东京），BRDG，Rainbow Disco Club（彩虹迪斯科俱乐部），ELEKTRA等许多场馆。他们的第一首EP“Grasp Echoes（抓住回声）”发行于2011年，因为用心的音效设计而备受好评。他们最近发了+MUS标签的第二首EP“Prank Poles（盛装之杆）”。

DUB-Russell is an experimental music unitbased in Tokyo, Japan, consisting of Yotaro Shuto and NOEL-KIT. Their music hasgained reputation on its use of original sound created by Max/MSP as well aslive performance based on improvisation. DUB-Russell has been making frequentperformances mainly in Tokyo. Their performance has included appearance at theSonar Sound Tokyo, BRDG, Rainbow Disco Club, ELEKTRA and many more. Their firstEP “Grasp Echoes” (released 2011) has receiving acclaims from various criticsfor its dedicated sound design. They have recently released their 2nd EP “PrankPoles” from +MUS label.
